Megan Anderson defeated Brazilian Norma Dumont brutally in UFC Norfolk, held last Saturday (29), in the United States. After the duel, the Australian celebrated the triumph in a very traditional way for athletes from her country: drinking beer while tennis.
As she left the octagon, the UFC's Twitter profile caught Megan receiving a glass of beer from the fans and placing it in her sneakers. The fighter drank and at the end raised her arms thanking the public for their euphoria.
Shoey, the act of drinking beer through shoes, is traditional among Australian athletes. Formula 1 driver Daniel Ricciardo even celebrated victories by taking off his sneakers and drinking the traditional winners' champagne from the shoe.
