Carnival Saturday will be one of celebration and relief for Priscila Pedrita. The Brazilian, who had come from three consecutive defeats in Ultimate, achieved her first victory in the octagon. In the opening fight of UFC Auckland, held this Saturday (22), in New Zealand, the Brazilian athlete knocked out North American Shana Dobson in just 40 seconds.

After the triumph, Pedrita was unable to contain her emotion. She knelt in the octagon, cried profusely and avoided the risk of dismissal.
The fight
Priscila Pedrita and Shana Dobson entered the octagon in New Zealand under pressure. The Brazilian had three defeats, while the North American had two losses in a row. With that, the Tupiniquim athlete went all out on her rival.
Pedrita attacked crossing left and right and forced Dobson to retreat. The North American managed to seek the clinch and stop the Brazilian's initial momentum. However, Priscila went after her rival again to end the fight. She shortened it with a jab and placed a chin uppercut on the North American's face, who fell unconscious.
Priscila still put one more punch on the ground to guarantee the triumph.
