UFC fires eight fighters, including Brazilians Junior Albini and Kalindra Farias

Albini had five fights in the UFC and won just one, while Kalindra lost the three times she stepped into the Octagon

The feared UFC boat passed once again. This Tuesday (11), eight athletes were released by the organization. Among those fired are Brazilians Junior Albini and Kalindra Farias.

The other names that are no longer linked to Ultimate are: Nathan Coy, Grigory Popov, Jin Soo Son, Daniel Spitz, Brandon davis and veteran Ben Saunders.

Junior Albini arrived in the UFC as a Brazilian hope in the heavyweight division. The Paraná native even debuted with a triumph over Timothy Johnson, in July 2017. But, afterwards, he had four series defeats against Andrei Arlovski, alexey oleynik, Jairzinho Rozenstruik e Maurice Greene.

Kalindra Farias had three fights in the UFC and failed to win. She had her first fight in October 2017 and lost to Mara Romero Borella. Afterwards it fell to Jessica Eye in a split decision and was finished by Joanne calderwood. The fighter from São Paulo already has a fight scheduled at the SFT, in São Paulo. She faces Sidy Rocha on the 29th.
