Last minute changes to the fight program UFC 247, an event that takes place tonight (08), in Houston (USA). The Brazilian Antonio Arroyo was taken to the hospital after the weigh-in, which took place last Friday (07) and is out of the fight against Trevin giles.
Arroyo was the last athlete to present himself for the official weigh-in of the UFC 247. Despite having weighed 84.3 kg, the limit for the middleweight division (up to 83.9 kg.) with the pound tolerance*, the Brazilian felt unwell after stepping on the scale and was prevented from performing by the UFC medical team.
UFC acts quickly and finds a replacement
Despite the last-minute absence, the Ultimate team worked quickly and found a replacement for the Brazilian Antonio Arroyo. Welterweight (up to 77.1 kg.) James Krause accepted the call at the last minute and will face Trevin giles on the preliminary card of the attraction.
Krause comes from two consecutive victories in the lower division and has a professional record of 27 wins and seven losses.
