Peruvian Diego Akita wins Jungle FIght 40 main fight

Peruvian Diego Akita stole the show in Jungle Fight 40, event held last Friday night (15), at the Cupertino Ramos gym, in Amapá.

Akita defeated the home athlete, Macapa's Adson “Preguiça”, in the judges' decision and placed himself as one of the two main athletes in the Jungle's featherweight category.

In the fight, the Peruvian athlete commanded the actions and didn't let “Preguiça” enjoy the fight. With an advantage in striking and grappling, Akita left no doubts for the referees, who, to the dismay of the local public, declared him the winner.
