"Given mission is accomplished mission! How I was looking forward to being back in the octagon. Now, it’s time to prepare and train hard to come out of this fight with our hands raised”, wrote the fighter.
Although he has been away from the octagon for a long time, the athlete's record in Ultimate is positive. For the company, the Amazonian has already performed on seven occasions, winning five and being defeated on two occasions.
The Brazilian's opponent, Giagos hasn't fought since August last year. The North American seeks to recover from the defeat he suffered in his last fight, when he was beaten by Drakkar Klose.
In August last year, Nuguette publicly declared his dissatisfaction with not being selected to perform more frequently within the UFC. Still, the athlete did not perform in 2019.
Now, the Brazilian will have the chance to, once again, prove his worth in the division dominated by Khabib Nurmagomedov.
At 36 years old, the man from Manaus will be making his 17th appearance since becoming a professional in MMA. The fighter has 15 wins and two losses.
With more clashes in his record, Christos, today, has 25 commitments, with 17 triumphs and eight setbacks.
