After Aldo's injury, Dana White slows down in training

After José Aldo suffer a muscle strain and become out of UFC 149 main fight, adding to the list of injured athletes in recent days, the president of the organization, Dana White, revealed his concern about the excessive number of injuries among his fighters.

In an interview with the North American channel Fuel TV, the manager stated that the athletes are working hard in their training and now need to slow down to avoid injuries.

“I’m desensitized to it now. Last year, when these things started happening, it was devastating. Now I know it’s part of the business,” White said. “I was talking to Joe Silva (UFC matchmaker) about this. You have so many talented guys out there in the same training camp, going out there like they're fighting for the title. These guys need to tone it down a bit in training and stop hurting each other”, analyzed the UFC president.
