Bellator president Scott Coker recently stated that the heavyweight champion (up to 120,2kg), Ryan bader, would beat the UFC title holder in an eventual fight. For Coker, his athlete has the necessary attributes to emerge victorious in a duel. The statement was recently made on the president's official Twitter account.

“We all know. That's how I feel. If he (Ryan) fought Stipe, what would happen? I think Ryan is a better wrestler. He can handle striking skills. I think the fight would end on the ground, with 'ground and pound'. I think if there was a new fight (between Cormier and Miocic), that's what he would do. He would win the duel,” Coker said.

Miocic is currently the youngest UFC heavyweight champion. The athlete achieved a great feat by regaining his number one position and beating the talented Daniel Cormier by knockout in the fourth round. With sharp boxing, Stipe managed to nullify Daniel's strategy and managed to deliver a devastating knockout to his rival. Bellator's president, however, insisted that the qualities of his organization's champion are enough to defeat the competition's champion.

“(Ryan) Bader has the transition game. I think that Ryan bader and Stipe (Miocic) would be a good fight, but Bader and Daniel Cormier It would be an incredible fight. My guy can handle any of the champions. My athlete has proven that he has the ability to knock out an opponent with one blow, concluded the president.

Bader was part of the group of UFC fighters between 2009 and 2016. For the former company, the athlete had 19 fights and emerged victorious on 14 occasions; two of them, against the legendary Brazilian athlete, Rogério Minotouro.

Ryan debuted in Bellator in 2017 and, since then, he has had five fights and has not suffered any setbacks.
