The former UFC featherweight champion (up to 65,7 kg.), Chris Cyborg, is close to his last fight for the company. Under the air of change, the athlete has recently been provoked by the president of the organization, Dana White, when she was accused of being afraid of the 'Lioness' and not wanting a new fight against her compatriot, Amanda nunes, to whom he lost the number one title in December last year. In an interview with 'TMZ Sports', the Curitiba native responded to the president.

“Do you think I'm surprised when Dana says things like that? I do not stay. I will be surprised when he said something nice to me. It's nothing new to me. Dana has never stepped foot in an octagon. She never fought in her life. He doesn’t know what a fighter’s life is like, because he’s the promoter,” said Cris.

Cyborg's relationship with the UFC ends after this Saturday's fight, at UFC 240. On that occasion, the Curitiba native will face former Invicta FC champion, Felícia Spencer. Regardless of the result, the Curitiba native has not yet decided what direction she will take in her career. The athlete preferred not to comment on the decision to renew her contract with Ultimate or sign a commitment to another company.

“I fight on Saturday. After the fight, you can be sure that I will answer any questions you ask me. I think I have to focus on Saturday's fight. My fans know if I'm scared (of Amanda). I’m going to do the fight and then talk to the press”, declared Cyborg.

The Curitiba native is known worldwide for her strength, aggressiveness and for having remained undefeated for more than 10 years. In her last fight, the athlete succumbed to the force of Amanda nunes, who shocked the world by knocking out Cyborg in less than a minute of fighting at UFC232, held in December last year. Since then, rumors about a new confrontation have been speculated, however, without confirmation.

Cris is currently 34 years old and has 23 fights in his professional record, with 20 victories, two defeats and one unsuccessful fight.
