The heavyweight (up to 120,2kg) of the UFC, Greg hardy, has been causing havoc wherever he goes within the heavyweight division. In his last performance, the athlete needed just 45 seconds to annihilate his opponent, Juan Adams at UFC San Antonio, last Saturday (20), in the United States. After the triumph, in an interview after the event, the athlete stated that he wants to improve his game further so that one day he will become the holder of the Ultimate title.

“I'm very proud of myself. I train with the best coaches, at the best gym in the world, which is ATT (American Top Team). I'm developing with each fight. Everyone wants to talk about things that aren't about fights, but they forget what I did in the fight. I want to be UFC heavyweight champion – he said in the interview after the event”, declared Hardy.

The 'things' Greg is referring to refer to his conviction in 2014 on charges of domestic violence. At the time, the former American football player was arrested for attacking and threatening his ex-girlfriend. The athlete also has a police record when he was arrested for possession of cocaine in 2016.

In the week before the fight, Hardy's opponent spoke about the controversies surrounding his opponent, which caused some strangeness. In the fight itself, Adams could show little, as he ended up being knocked out after less than a minute of fighting in a referee interruption that was widely commented on by the athlete and his team. For Greg, there are no hard feelings towards Juan.

“I hit him 30 times, something like that. I remember the referee telling him to defend himself, that he had to do something. No hard feelings. He's a young guy. We all remember the mistakes I made when he was a boy. God willing, he will also learn and improve. But if he wants another knockout, I can send him to the hospital again,” said the American.

Greg, 30 years old, only debuted in MMA in June last year. However, after almost a year, the athlete has already collected six fights. In five engagements, the athlete defeated his opponents by knockout.
