Featherweight (up to 65,7kg.) kron gracie is close to being announced as one of the athletes who will perform at UFC San Francisco, on October 12th, in the United States. The Brazilian, who made his Ultimate debut in the victory over Alex Caceres, in February this year, will face the veteran Cub swanson in a duel that will put his unbeaten record in MMA at stake. The information was released by 'ESPN'.

Kron, 30 years old, will enter the octagon again with the intention of continuing to evolve in his career in mixed martial arts, which began in December 2004, and still carries with him the responsibility of resuming the legacy of the Gracie family, known for having spread the Brazilian jiu-jitsu to the world, in addition to being one of those responsible for creating what is now the UFC, with Rorion Gracie, in the early 1990s.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Kron is the son of the legendary Rickson Gracie, a prestigious athlete who played in MMA between the 1980s and 2000 and is known for having retired undefeated.
Gracie's opponent for October, despite having a lot of experience, is not going through a good time within the company. The North American, today, is not even ranked within the featherweight division, but he has lived through better times, when he faced names like Frankie Edgar, currently challenging for the division title, Max Holloway, current champion, Brian ortega e Renato Moicano.
Swanson has not won a fight since April 2017. The 35-year-old athlete has lost in his last four fights and, if he suffers another defeat, the fighter's situation could become more complicated within the organization.
Kron, for his part, has won all of his fights since moving from grappling tournaments to MMA. The Rio native awaits the clash to increasingly establish himself as a possible title challenger in the future.
