To announce his next commitment, Mineiro called on a special reinforcement: the YouTuber Whindersson Nunes made a video with the challenger, in which he asked Brazilian fans to support the duel at Brave 24.
The two have a friendly relationship that began when Whindersson, one of the biggest digital influencers in the world, started training MMA and asked Mineiro to be his teacher.
Lucas lost his lightweight belt at BRAVE 18 when he was defeated by Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady. The setback interrupted a streak of five straight victories, including a technical knockout against the current lightweight champion and his personal friend, Luan Miau Santiago.
Brave 24 will take place at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, inside the Copper Box Arena, and promises to shake up the world of MMA. The event will be invitation-only, which will include influencers, celebrities and politicians from around the world.
