Another highlight in the most recent update to the official Ultimate listing was the rise of Mark Hunt. The New Zealander, protagonist of the “Fight of the Night” in Brisbane alongside Brazilian Antônio “Pezão” Silva, debuted in eighth place in the heavyweight category ranking after the draw.
Furthermore, two other Brazilians rose one position each, even without having played in recent weeks: Fabricio Werdum, which awaits the fight against Cain Velazquez for the heavyweight belt, he went to second place among the heavyweights and Lyoto Machida, who recently debuted with a victory over Mark Muñoz at middleweight, moved into fourth place in the 84 kg division.
