Marked by 'wars' in the UFC octagon at his peak, the former lightweight (up to 70,3kg) and welterweight (up to 77kg) champion of the organization, B.J. Penn, had as a celebratory characteristic the habit of 'licking' his gloves with blood after winning his fights.

And, last Sunday (29), the characteristic scene repeated itself again. However, this time, it was Jake Paul who 'licked' his boxing glove when throwing a blow at Tyron woodley. After the fight, however, B.J. Penn appeared on his social networks to criticize the YouTuber and accuse him of copying his famous celebration.
“Don’t ever copy me again, you f*****. Look at my gloves and compare them to the 'pillows' on your hands. 20 years of war”, wrote Penn on his official 'Instagram'.
Will you challenge?
This isn't the first time Penn has mentioned Paul's name in a provocative way. Soon after the YouTuber's victory against Ben Askren, the Hawaiian even challenged him to a fight, but saw him opt to fight Woodley.
Jake now has a record of four wins in four boxing fights – two against former Ultimate fighters – and, if he continues looking for challenges against MMA personalities, BJ could be one of his options.
