BRAZILIAN IN ACTION AT UFC 308

Led by the featherweight title fight (up to 65,7 kg) between Ilia Topuria and Max Holloway, UFC 308 features six Brazilians in action on the preliminary card this Saturday (26).

With stints in PFL, UAE Warriors and LFA, the 30-year-old welterweight from Paraná makes his debut in the Ultimate, responding to a last-minute call-up and opening the preliminary card against Rinat Fakhretdinov, undefeated in the UFC.

Carlos Leal      (21-5)

In the UFC since 2021 and known for his knockout power, the 35-year-old middleweight from Paraíba is going through a difficult phase, with five defeats in the last six fights and three consecutive setbacks. This Saturday, he faces the Austrian Ismail Naurdiev, who returns to the Ultimate after four years.

Bruno Blindado      (23-11)

'Striker' is fighting for the second time in the UFC, riding the wave of more than ten years of undefeated streak. On the other side, the 31-year-old from Goiás faces the promising Farid Basharad, undefeated in his career with 12 wins in 12 fights.

Victor Hugo      (25-4)

With almost all of his victories achieved in the first round, the middleweight from Curitiba arrives on the back of two victories and faces veteran Abus Magomedov.

Bruno Hulk      (12-1)

Pressured by two consecutive defeats, the former lightweight champion returns to welterweight at 39 years old and faces the tenth-ranked Geoff Neal.

Rafael dos Anjos          (32-16)

Undefeated in his career, the 34-year-old light heavyweight from Bahia makes his debut in the organization and closes the preliminary card in an explosive duel against Turkish fighter Ibo Aslan, who is making his second appearance in the UFC.
