The UFC innovated in 2013 and launched its official rankings. With voting by 90 specialized journalists from around the world and with statistics from “Fight Metric”, the organization intends to create a way to classify its athletes according to their performance in the Octagon.
The classification will be updated after each organization event and, in addition to the ranking between the seven categories, the fighters also compete for the top in the “weight for weight” category, with athletes from all categories.
