The fourth edition of Future FC had it all. Knockouts, submissions, surprises and even the presence of funk singer MC Guimê, who debuted as cornerman for his friend Maciano Ferreira. But the biggest highlight was the young middleweight Wellington Turman, 22 years old, who simply didn't notice former UFC Márcio Lyoto in the main fight of the event. He started with an advantage on the feet and defined it on the ground, with engaging movement and an unappealable rear-naked choke in the first round.

The impeccable performance earned Wellington Turman the best fighter of the night bonus, worth US$500 (around R$1950), and a contract with the LFA. It was the 15th victory in 17 fights fought by the native of Curitiba, who was selected to participate in “Dana White's Contender Series Brazil” last year, but due to visa problems he ended up not traveling to fight, being replaced, coincidentally, by Márcio Lyoto .

Those who also stamped their passport to represent Brazil in the LFA were veterans Toninho Fúria and Paulo Pizzo. In the lightweight division, Fúria, 30 years old and now with 45 fights on his record, presented himself with the aggressiveness he is used to and, with a merciless shin to the ribs, sent the very tough Marcos Alemão to the canvas. With a successful history in Kickboxing, bantamweight Paulo Pizzo, 38 years old, used his experience and the power of his hands to shut down the young promise Caionã Blade. In addition to his contract with the LFA, Pizzo also pocketed US$500 for the knockout/submission of the night prize.

The best fight of the night bonus went to Karol Rosa and Gisele Moreira. The fight was a rematch of a duel held in 2017 at the Aspera FC event. On that occasion, Gisele won by majority decision. This time, the story was different. There were almost three rounds of delivery on both sides, but with Karol taking the advantage and hurting his opponent. In the end, when it seemed that the fight was heading towards a new decision by the judges, Karol increased the pressure on his strikes and forced the central referee to end the fight, with just a few seconds remaining in the third round. Both pocketed $500.

Lightweight Ednilson Cai-Cai and flyweight Bruno Korea also raised the public's spirits. Cai-Cai, for the spectacular knockout applied to Marcos Forever, a standing knee that caught the chin; Korea, for his almost cinematic performance against Leandro Foguinho. The former TUF Brazil fighter opened up a range of plastic strikes, including spinning and flying kicks, which only failed to define the fight before 15 minutes due to Foguinho's impressive resistance. In the end, the TFT athlete won by unanimous decision.

MC Guimê debuts as a cornerman, but watches his friend lose

Flyweight Maciano Ferreira had funk singer MC Guimê in his corner and even started the fight against Adriano Florêncio very well, who got to swing a few times in the first round, making it seem like the knockout would be a matter of time. However, on the way back to the second, Florêncio recovered and used Jiu-Jitsu to save himself. After taking Marciano to the ground, he took his back and defined him with a rear naked choke, much to Guimê's disappointment.
