UFC conference is marked by hot weather between Henry Cejudo and Marlon Moraes

The press conference held by the UFC, this Friday (12), was marked by the exchange of barbs between the challengers for the bantamweight title (61,2kg), Henry Cejudo e Marlon moraes. The event was intended to promote fights that will take place in the coming months for the organization.

Whenever a press professional directed a question to Cejudo or Moraes, the two took the opportunity to provoke each other, further increasing the promotion of the fight. Asked about expectations regarding the clash against the Brazilian, the Olympic champion stated that his opponent was just another in line.

“I'll finish you in 30 seconds”, said Henry, who was still dismissive of his opponent's qualities. “You’re just another one in line. Just one more”, teased the flyweight champion (up to 56,7kg).

The Brazilian, however, seems unfazed by the provocations. After being asked if his mental health would be affected by finally having a title fight, Moraes said he was ready for the meeting.

“No (psychology will not be shaken). I've been ready for this for a long time. I’m going to knock you out”, replied Marlon, drawing applause from the audience and directing the response to his rival.

The clash between the two fighters is scheduled to take place on June 8th, at UFC 238.

Dana White responds about Daniel Cormier x Brock Lesnar

In addition to the fighters, UFC president Dana White was also asked about the return of Brock Lesnar to the UFC. The WWE star – US telecatch league – is tipped to face the champion Daniel CormierIn August, however, the leader decided not to talk.

Asked about how the negotiations would go, Dana was direct in stating that the duel is far from happening.

“I haven't even called Brock yet. This fight is not yet being worked on. When Brock is ready, he will call me”, said the agent, who received a small boo from those present.

Regarding a possible fight for Cormier, White responded that the next challenger for the belt could be Stipe Miocic.

“Cormier will fight again. It could be against Miocic, declared the 'boss'.
