Former Chelsea goalkeeper, Brazilian Ricardo Prasel tries for a place in the UFC through a TV show
Prasel, who left football in 2011, already has 11 fights in MMA with 10 wins and will participate in the 'Dana White Contender Series'

Former Chelsea goalkeeper, Ricardo Prasel left the biggest football league in the world in 2011 to dedicate himself to MMA. Now, the Brazilian heavyweight will have the chance to enter the biggest MMA event in the world. The man from Paraná was confirmed in the next season of the 'Dana White Contender Series', a program run by the president of Ultimate in the USA that seeks new talent for the organization.
Alemão's confirmation, as he is known, on the program was given by the fighter himself through his Instagram account.

“I have an extremely strong opponent in front of me who will be competing in the Contender for the third time, but I'm working hard to reach my best. I'm where many struggle their whole lives to get to and I want to seize this opportunity.
It's not about luck or anything like that, I showed the whole world who I am, and the UFC got to know me through my achievements”, added the Brazilian.
Ricardo Prasel, 28 years old, has a professional record of 10 wins and just one loss. In his last fight, in December 2018, the Brazilian defeated Alison Vicente at ImortalFC 10, a national event held in Curitiba
