The UFC's anti-doping policy with the US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) claimed yet another victim, this time in an even harsher way. Russian Ruslan Magomedov was banned by USADA after being caught in three exams. The entity announced the decision this Monday (1) through its official website.

Magomedov first failed the test in 2016 and received a two-year ban. Scheduled to return for October 2018, the Russian was once again caught in the USADA exams and had his hook renewed. Finally, still under suspension, in February this year, Rustan refused to undergo further tests.

USADA understands that the refusal without just cause to undergo tests is considered a serious doping violation, so it imposed a ban on the athlete.

The fighter and the UFC have not yet commented on the case.
