North American Don Frye made his name in UFC history. The heavyweight, who won the Ultimate tournaments on two occasions – when he fought up to three times in the same night – attacked the organization's directors without mincing words.
In an interview with the North American radio program “Savage Dog Show”, the former fighter complained about the amounts paid to athletes.
“What is being done there is a crime. You see some athletes making two or three thousand dollars, while Dana White brags about having 30 Ferraris,” Frye said. “He charges sponsors around 150 thousand dollars to display their brands on fighters’ shorts and shirts, and only gives them two or three thousand dollars? This is stealing from athletes”, concluded the heavyweight.
