Molly McCann guarantees 'Bloodbath' in fight with Priscila Pedrita at UFC London

Molly McCann will face Priscila 'Pedrita' on the preliminary card of UFC London, this Saturday (16). The flyweights are looking for victory in their second UFC fight. When analyzing the duel with the Brazilian, the Englishwoman promised a 'Bloodbath' in the fight against the Brazilian.

“I saw someone on YouTube doing an analysis of our fight. [The person] said: 'This is a candidate for Fight of the Night. You've got two girls whose careers are on the line tonight.' This is a fight to change our lives. It's the one where you want a knockout or a submission. It’s going to be a bloodbath, I think,” said McCann in an interview with the North American podcast Eurobash.

According to Molly, many people named her as the favorite against the Brazilian. However, she claims that Pedrita is an impressive fighter. In her first fight for Ultimate, Priscila faced Valentina Shevchenko. Even after being dominated by her rival, the PRVT team athlete did not back down.

“A lot of people said to me, 'Molly, this is your fight. Look at her style, her technique… It's horrible and blah blah blah. I believe 100% that I will win and that I will kill her, but she got to where she is and achieved the record she has because she doesn't throw punches like a normal person. She's so unorthodox that you don't see the shit coming, and the blows that knock you out are the ones you don't see. I'm not saying by any means that she's going to knock me out, but I told people, 'You need to give this girl more credit.' The first punch she received from Shevchenko, she recoiled and her knee exploded. She went through almost two entire rounds with a torn ACL and didn't give up when she was getting punched and elbowed on the ground,” concluded Molly.

At 28 years old, McCann has nine fights on her record as a professional fighter. In her Ultimate debut, the Englishwoman was submitted by Gillian robertson at UFC Liverpool in May 2018.

Priscila also has nine fights in her career, eight victories and one setback. His only defeat was to Valentina Shevchenko at UFC Belém in February 2018.
