UFC Wichita: Elizeu Capoeira submits Curtis Millender and asks: 'fight against top 5 or the belt'

Elizeu Capoeira made another victim in Ultimate! The Brazilian entered the octagon, this Saturday (09), in UFC Wichita, for the most important fight of his career against Curtis Millender. The man from Paraná was not intimidated by his rival's favoritism and defeated the North American in spectacular fashion, with a rear naked choke in 2m35s of the fight. The triumph was the Brazilian athlete's seventh consecutive victory in the organization.

The fight

The fight started with Millender landing the first blow, when he connected a kick to Elizeu's base. However, from that moment on, the Brazilian took control and gave his rival no chance. Still fighting on the feet, he crossed a dangerous left before grabbing the American's leg and getting the takedown.

On top, the Brazilian worked with elbows from half guard until he caught Millender's back. The North American still managed to escape the first attack, but gave way to mount. Afterwards, Capoeira once again dominated the back, secured the rear naked choke and forced the opponent to give up.
