Ultimate's desire to once again hold an event at the Brazilian football stadium is temporarily postponed. O UFC 237, which would be held at Arena da Baixada, in Curitiba, on May 11th, is moving to Rio de Janeiro.

According to a report on the Combate channel's website, the organization had difficulties in agreeing the rent with Athetico Paranaense, owner of the stadium, and sent the show to Arena da Barra, in the capital of Rio de Janeiro.
O UFC 237 it will be the tenth edition of the show in the capital of Rio de Janeiro. The franchise would not like to return to Rio in 2019, due to the low demand for tickets in the 2017 and 2018 editions. But, with the problems in Curitiba with less than three months to go before the attraction, the show was left with few alternatives.
Anderson Silva on the card
To reinforce the edition in Rio de Janeiro, Ultimate called Anderson Silva for the attraction. Spider will face Jared Cannonier in the second most important fight of the show.
On Wednesday afternoon (20), Anderson announced through his Twitter account that he was 'going to Brazil to save Dana (White, UFC president) again'.
