The Brazilian Charles of the Bronx Take advantage of the short break until your next UFC fight to do a good deed. The fighter was invited to visit the headquarters of LBV Del Castilho, in Rio de Janeiro, an entity that the athlete from São Paulo met before his last performance against Eric Wisely, in January this year. On that occasion, Charles won the fight with a calf lock in the first round.
Upon his return to the Marvelous City, Charles will have a busy social calendar. In the morning he visits the LBV Educational Center (Legião da Boa Vontade), then, at the invitation of the Municipal Department of Social Assistance (SMAS), he will visit the Raul Seixas reception unit, which currently serves 30 teenagers.
“Our young people see the Charles of the Bronx as a reference of success, and when talking to him they answer questions and exchange life experiences. We have encouraged young people to train and also be complete citizens with education, respect and citizenship”, said Pedro Paulo Torres, Superintendent of Institutional Relations at Rádio Brasil/LBV. “Everyone was very happy to be remembered by Charles in the last fight in the United States when he sent a hug to the children of the UPPs and the LBV”, he added
