Renato Moicano will have the difficult task of facing José Aldo at UFC Fortaleza, February 2nd. Despite all the tension of the fight, the Brasilia native maintained respect for the people's champion during the promotion of the fight. However, inside the octagon the story is a little different. The revelation admitted that whoever best imposes their strategy will win the confrontation and believes that their arm will be raised in the end.

In an interview with the Ag. Fight website, Moicano explained that it will be a fight of explosion versus cadence. Renato stated that he will impose his rhythmic style to win the confrontation with his compatriot. The fighter who leaves with his arm raised qualifies to be the next challenger for the featherweight title against the champion, Max Holloway.
“I see him with more explosion, more power in his strikes. And I was more rhythmic, trying to take advantage of good shots. And then we'll see what will stand out: his explosion or my cadence. We are doing very strong training in this regard, and I believe that I will emerge victorious. I know everyone says that, but I'm very confident and my arm will be raised at the end”, explained Moicano.
Moicano is ranked fourth in the Ultimate featherweight rankings. At 29 years old, he has 15 fights in his career, 13 victories, one draw and only one defeat. In his last commitment, the Brasiliense player finished Cub swanson at UFC 227 in August last year. His only setback in Ultimate was to Brian ortega in July 2017 at UFC 214.
