UFC 229 breaks record by generating more than R$300 million in economic impact in Las Vegas

The event that featured the duel between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor recorded the biggest audience at the T-Mobile Arena with more than 20 thousand spectators

Ultimate promoted the confrontation between Khabib Nurmagomedov e Conor McGregor in the main fight of UFC 229 in October last year. The organization's most anticipated fight generated a lot of interest from MMA fans from all over the world who went to Las Vegas. Thus, the franchise broke the record for economic impact for the city with US$86,4 million (around R$325 million).

In addition to the franchise's milestone, Ultimate also surpassed the attendance record at the T-Mobile Arena. There were 20.034 fans present at the show and it generated more than US$17 million in ticket sales.

At UFC 229, Khabib Nurmagomedov finished Conor McGregor in the fourth round and retained the lightweight belt. However, after the victory, the Russian jumped out of the octagon, attacked Dillon Danis and started a general fight in the arena.
