Vitor Belfort appears next to the Bellator president and says: 'I'll be back soon'

Belfort increased rumors about his return to MMA by appearing alongside Scott Coker, president of Bellator

It wasn't just the devastating knockout of Ryan bader about Fedor Emelianenko who caught attention at Bellator 214. During the event, held on Saturday night (26), Vitor belfort stirred up fans by appearing on the show and fueling rumors that he was coming out of retirement to compete on the show.

First, Belfort recorded a video on his Instagram account (see below) and used the caption to promise that he should compete again. “It’s been a long time since I’ve been on this side of the cage, soon I’ll be back on the side I LOVE…….”, wrote Vitor.

Afterwards, the 'Phenomenon' increased the rumors even further by posting a photo next to Scott Coker, president of Bellator, and praised the director. 'Congratulations on your success, @therealscottcoker.'

Belfort's career

Vitor belfort hung up his gloves at UFC 224, an event held on May 12, 2018, in Rio de Janeiro. In the event he was knocked out in front of Lyoto Machida in his 41st fight as a professional. The Brazilian had 26 wins, 14 losses and one fight without result (No Contest).
