Jessica Stacker will compete for the strawweight belt with the champion Rose namajunas during the UFC 237, May 10th in Brazil. With her focus on winning the category belt, the woman from Paraná assured that she will not leave the result up to the judges. In an interview with the Combate channel website, the fighter scored a knockout victory in the third round over 'Thug'.

“I see myself knocking out in the third round, I want to strike, try to knock out and show that I've improved on the stand-up side. Everyone is afraid of my floor. They know that if I put them down it will be a different fight. I have to show my aggression, I like standing up. The fight ends with my knockout in the third round”, said Jessica.
The Brazilian continues to prepare for the duel she had when she faced Joanna Jedrzejczyk, given that Namajunas and the Polish woman's fighting style is similar.
“I'm training the same things, improving my striking. It's a point that I've been improving. My opponents like to walk, circulate around the Octagon. I'm learning to corner better, to cut the cage to find my opponents better, so they don't run away from me. The camp is very good, I've been training jiu-jitsu with master Paraná. I’m uninjured, everything is great”, said the woman from Paraná.
Bate-Estaca states that winning the strawweight belt will be the pinnacle of his career as a professional. The Brazilian believes that if she becomes champion, everything will improve. However, she guarantees that fame will not change the person she is today.
“People get carried away by fame, but I will be the usual Jessica, taking photos with everyone, with the security guard pulling me because I don't want to leave the people. It will be like this for the rest of my life”, concluded Bate-Estaca.
