“He (Cejudo) didn’t make weight other times, he already had problems making 57kg. I bet I make weight easier than him, because I'm a professional”, said Dillashaw.

In the final weeks of the camp, Dillashaw published photos showing him looking thinner than ever. Due to his appearance, fans questioned whether this would affect TJ's performance in the fight with Cejudo.

“Of course I will be thinner. I'm downgrading. If I waited to make weight on the day, I would be noticeably better in camp, I would be more normal, but my performance wouldn't be as good. I’m more concerned about my performance,” TJ explained.

'Viper' confessed that he normally weighs 68 kg, but he weighed 61 kg on Monday. The champion has four days to lose four kilos and reach the category limit.

"It's not a problem. I always knew I could make weight, but I'm surprised at how good I'm feeling trying to get there. But that happened because of how professionally I handled it. The weight cut is over. Now, it’s just a few tricks to lower the last weight”, concluded Viper.
