Ceará has been living with insecurity since the beginning of 2019 when criminal attacks were carried out on buildings, viaducts and buses in the capital and in the interior. As a result, National Force teams were sent to combat violence. The squad is housed at the Olympic Training Center (CFO), where UFC Fortaleza will be held. Even so, the state government guaranteed that the event will not be harmed and will take place on February 02nd.

“Força Nacional occupies a certain area of ​​the Olympic Training Center (CFO), which does not affect the UFC event, which is scheduled to take place in the equipment’s main gymnasium,” said the Ceará Sports Secretariat in a note to the newspaper Estadão.

The government of Ceará stated that if the National Force is still housed at the Olympic Training Center in February it will carry out readjustment at the complex. It is worth mentioning that the CFO is next to the Castelão Stadium.
