For many experts, the Cuban naturalized Australian Hector Lombard He is the second middleweight on the list of the best in the world. Champion of the category at Bellator, Lombard could be on his way to the UFC, and consequently, be one of the next challengers for the title of the 84 kg division. According to Dana White, president of Ultimate, the ATT athlete has open doors in his organization.
“I think he’s quite popular around here. I've been hearing all about Hector. He's under contract (with Bellator), but we'll see. We will probably end up closing. If Hector wants to fight in the UFC, we'll probably do it,” Dana White told Ape12a's, while visiting Australia.
Lombard, 34 years old, has an MMA record of 31 wins, one draw and two losses. And he is undefeated in 25 fights, having last lost to Gegard Mousasi, in 2006, in the now extinct Pride.
