“They kicked me out of the cage. I think this is bad, very disrespectful, because I did a lot for the sport. I was supposed to say hi to my fans and talk to them. I don't think it's right, but ok, they already did it, I can go to the media and talk to my fans, tell them how much I appreciate them coming here to watch my fight, the whole Cyborg Nation here to watch me. It's ok, I just feel like I should say something. Two Brazilian fighters, two champions, that’s it”, said Cyborg.

Even though she was disappointed at not being able to speak to her fans, Cris stated that she is determined to deal with this setback with balance and will continue fighting.

“The most important thing is to be a champion in the hearts of the fans, to make a difference, that's what I fight for. I don't give up, because everyone knows what happened in my career. It was never easy for me, but I worked hard and got the belt, I proved to everyone what I am and against the system. Nobody does this against the system, and I was a champion before, I want to be the champion in the hearts of the fans and continue to do this wherever I go”, concluded the former featherweight champion.
