The move of UFC 232 from Las Vegas to Los Angeles was announced to the press on Sunday (23) with less than a week to go until the event. However, it seems that Ultimate 'forgot' to communicate the transfer to the fighters who are part of the last card of the year. Chris Cyborg revealed that he found out about the change through the news on the internet and criticized the organization for not notifying the athletes in advance.

“I think the right thing would be to have a connection with all the fighters who will be at the event and not for us to be informed via the Internet. I think the UFC and the Jon Jones they already knew before Sunday. We had to be informed so we could organize ourselves too”, explained Cyborg in an interview with the Combate channel website.

Even with the inconvenience of the move, the featherweight champion was happy to be able to fight in California. Cyborg did all his preparation for the fight with Amanda nunes at UFC 232 in Huntington Beach, an hour from where the event will take place. Meanwhile, Cris thinks about the fans who did everything they could to see her in Las Vegas and won't be able to go to Inglewood.

“I thought about my family and my team because everyone was going to Vegas. I started calling everyone to cancel flights and hotels. It was less than six days, many people were unable to recover anything they canceled. For me it was cool because it was close to home, but I think about all the people, my fans, who did everything to go to Las Vegas”, said the Brazilian.
