“We both already agreed to fight. What is three weeks? Give me three weeks,” Swanson posted.
After informing the Brazilian that he would not be able to face him at UFC 233, the American fighter revealed one of the reasons for his withdrawal. Cub said that his twin babies have breathing difficulties and that's why he wants more time to take care of his children.
The first featherweight fight took place in June 2009 at WEC 41. Aldo knocked out Swanson in just eight seconds and won the 'Fight of the Night' award. 'Scarface' beat the American and held the title for six years, as well as transitioning the organization to the UFC.
