Ronaldo Jacare already has a new opponent defined for the Strikeforce Tate vs. Rousey. The former middleweight champion will face the American Bristol Marunde, who will replace compatriot Derek Brunson, who failed the Ohio State Athletic Commission's medical exams. The information was made official by Strikeforce president Scott Coker on his Twitter account.
Marunde is from the state of Alaska, 29 years old, 1,85m tall and has a professional MMA record of 15-6. He was the Superior Cage Combat middleweight champion until he signed with Strikeforce for the fight with the Brazilian.
Strikeforce Tate vs. Rousey will be played on March 3rd at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The event will be led by the women's bantamweight belt dispute between the champion Miesha Tate and the challenger Ronda Rousey. Check out the fights card main:
