Khabib Nurmagomedov will be judged by the Nevada Athletic Commission on December 10 due to the confusion at UFC 229. While awaiting trial, the UFC lightweight champion is doing volunteer work on a charity mission on the African continent.
Nurmagomedov chose the community of Abuja in Nigeria's capital to help repair water wells and build medical centers.
In his last battle in the Octagon, Khabib submitted Conor McGregor with a rear naked choke in the fourth round at UFC 229. At the end of the fight, the Russian started an all-out fight by jumping out of the cage and attacking the Irishman's trainer, Dillon Danis. Because of this, the lightweight champion is suspended indefinitely and has had his salary withheld.
