The Brazilian Thiago Silva had been left without an opponent for his return to the UFC after being suspended for doping due to an injury to Brandon Vera. But this Wednesday, the organization announced that the Brazilian athlete will face Croatian Igor Pokrajac at UFC on FX 3, an event scheduled to take place on May 15, in the city of Fairfax, in the United States.

With a record of 14 wins and two losses, Thiago is looking for redemption in the UFC after his doping problem. For his part, Pokrajac, who has a professional record of 24 wins and eight losses, is known for his knockout power. The Croatian is coming off a triumph in the organization, when he knocked out Krzysztof Soszynski at UFC 140, in December 2011.
