Khabib Nurmagomedov won Conor McGregor with a submission in the fourth round of the main fight of UFC 229. With the triumph, the Russian received a purse of US$ 2 million while the Irishman pocketed US$ 3 million, not counting the percentage of sales of pay-per-view packages. In an interview with the North American website TMZ Sports, 'Eagle's' manager, Ali Abdelaziz stated that the achievement valued his athlete's 'pass' and aims to earn US$50 million in the next clash.

“Listen, the guy we just faced said he won 50 million dollars. I think as a global superstar, Khabib has surpassed him. You have one guy meeting with [Russia's President Vladimir] Putin and [Turkey's Recep] Erdogan and the other guy selling whiskey at the corner store. It's not even on the same planet. Good for him. Whatever. It’s none of our business,” explained Abdelaziz.

For Khabib's manager, his work is focused on getting the best possible scholarship for the Russian. This way he ensured that it doesn't matter who Nurmagomedov's next opponent is as long as he receives the amount he wants.

“At the end of the day, maybe a lot of money on the table, maybe the rematch. I don't know. Maybe we'll get a rematch for the guy we just killed. Whatever brings money to Khabib. This is my job now. It's not Khabib's. Khabib created a legacy: 11 years, 27 fights. Now, money talks,” said Ali.

Before thinking about his next opponent, Khabib will have to attend the Nevada Athletic Commission hearing on December 10th. Committee members will decide Nurmagomedov's future after the UFC 229 brawl.
