Member of the UFC Hall of Fame and last opponent defeated by Anderson Silva in the Brazilian's 'golden era', the former fighter Stephan bonnar was arrested for drunk driving last Sunday (28), in the state of Nevada, in the United States. According to information from the American website 'TMZ Sports', the 'American Psycho', as he was known, crashed his car after driving in a dangerous manner, according to people who witnessed the scene and called the local police.

Arrested, Bonnar, who still tried to resist arrest, had to pay a bail of R$81,620 thousand (22 thousand dollars) to be released. As punishment, he will be released from prison.
Bonnar, 41 years old, became famous after starring in a battle against Forrest griffin in the final of the first edition of the reality show TUF – The Ultimate Fighter, in 2005, when he ended up being defeated on points. In the UFC, he had 14 fights, totaling eight wins and six defeats, the last of which was against Anderson Silva, in 2012, in Rio de Janeiro. After leaving Ultimate, Stephan still fought at Bellator 131 in 2014, but was defeated by Tito Ortiz.
