At just 23 years old, Carcacinha is considered one of the main Brazilian promises in Ultimate. He won the three fights he had in the company, the most recent in August of this year, when he overcame Kyung Ho Kang at UFC 227. In total, there are 12 positive results and only one setback as a professional. Simon, who still doesn't know if he will be retained in the event, also has 100% success in the organization, with two victories.

Without Ricardo, the only Tupiniquim athlete on the card is the lightweight Davi ramos, who is looking for his third consecutive victory against John Gunther. The main fight of the night will be a featherweight duel between the veterans Frankie Edgar and the South Korean Chan sung jung
