The UFC 230 card, scheduled for New York on November 3, suffered a major loss. Light weight Dustin poirier was injured during training and is out of the fight he would have against Nate diaz, which will also be removed from the card, as announced by Dana White, president of the organization. The information was given first hand by the American ESPN.

Number 3 in the under-70kg category ranking, Poirier is enjoying a great moment in his career, with three consecutive victories, all by knockout. The most recent was in July of this year, when he overcame former champion Eddie Alvarez. Before, he had gone through Justin gaethje e Anthony Pettis.
Nate, in turn, has not performed since August 2016, when he lost the rematch to Conor McGregor. Little active in recent years, the American bad boy has only played four times since 2014, recording two wins and two defeats.
If Poirier x Diaz is out of UFC 230, the main fight of the attraction is already official. It will be a heavyweight title fight between the champion Daniel Cormier and the challenger Derrick Lewis, who knocked out Alexander Volkov at UFC 229, last Saturday (06).
