Nate Diaz says he has no interest in a third fight against McGregor

The American fighter stated that he has no desire to break the tie, as he believes he won both matches

Conor McGregor revealed interest in facing Nate diaz for the third time for the belt in the new UFC category. In the first fight, the North American submitted the Irishman in March 2016. In the second fight, 'Notorious' beat his rival on points. Even with the record tied, the former Strikeforce champion admitted that he has no desire to break the tie, as he believes he won in both duels.

“I'm not looking for any trilogy. He already had his a** whipped. He can fight everyone else, I have other things to do too”, said Nate in an interview with the website of the North American channel TMZ.

Diaz was asked if he would face the champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov. However, the fighter assured that he does not want to face 'boring' fighters. “I don’t want to fight any boring fighter. I already slapped the guy on the street and that son of a bitch didn't do anything. And then he tried to attack me with his fighters and I beat all those motherfuckers too,” he explained.

The American fighter believes that his rival, McGregor, will beat the lightweight champion in the main fight of UFC 229. “I think Conor has a much better fighting style. Khabib is scared, so I don't know how good he's going to be. We don’t need boring champions”, said Nate.
