Chris Cyborg e Amanda nunes will make MMA history by starring in the first female superfight at UFC 232, on December 29th, in Las Vegas (USA). For this reason, the Curitiba native does not want the match to be canceled at the last minute. On her social networks, the featherweight champion asked the franchise to choose a reserve fighter for the duel.

The Curitiba native justified the request by claiming that Amanda was removed from the main card of UFC 213 in Las Vegas just hours before the event. The Bahian was scheduled to defend the rooster belt against Valentina Shevchenko. However, the 'Lioness' stated that chronic sinusitis prevented her from fighting.
The featherweight champion also mentioned that Ultimate on other occasions left a reserve athlete for title fights. At UFC 228, the organization scaled Kamaru Usman as an alternate in the welterweight title fight between Tyron woodley e Darren till.
"When Tyron woodley fought against Darren till, the UFC had an extra welterweight make weight in case anyone got hurt. I would like to see another female featherweight do the same thing on December 29th at UFC 232, Mick Maynard. So I don't have to experience what Valentina Shevchenko passed UFC 213”, posted Cris.
