The main MMA franchise in the world arrives in Brazil next Saturday (22). UFC Fight Night 137, which takes place at the Ibirapuera gym in São Paulo, will have as its main attraction the duel between light heavyweights Thiago Marreta e Erik Anders, but another 13 Brazilians will step into the octagon, and you can make good money with online betting through the odds of oddsshark.

Check out our predictions for the most promising fights on the preliminary card below.

PUBLICITY:

Charles do Bronx x Christos Giagos

The name of Charles of the Bronx was not originally on the event card, but he was called to make up for the absence of Antonio Shoe Guy, who was injured. In search of his second consecutive triumph, the Brazilian will face the North American Christos Giagos, who is back in the UFC after a three-year absence.

Charles of the Bronx comes from a great victory over Clay guida at UFC Chicago, held just over three months ago. The Brazilian won by submission in just two minutes, and received the performance of the night award. However, performances at this level have not been as frequent in the last three years. He was defeated in four of his seven most recent engagements. The lightweight has a record of 23 triumphs and eight setbacks.

PUBLICITY:

Giagos had a quick stint in the UFC between October 2014 and June 2015. The American submitted Jorge de Oliveira at UFC Rio, but lost his fights against Gilbert Burns and Chris Wade. His last years were at ACB (Absolute Championship Berkut), and he is coming off a victory over Henderson Capoeira at the beginning of March. The fighter's record is 15 wins and six losses.

Even though he's not going through his best days, Do Bronx is the favorite to win the fight, and his triumph is priced at R$1,28/R$1,00. If Giagos is successful in his return, the profit will be 265%.

PUBLICITY:

Elizeu Capoeira x Luigi Vendramini

In yet another fight at the last minute, the Brazilians Elizeu Capoeira e Luigi Vendramini will compete in the welterweight division. The Capoeira opponent would be Belal Muhammad |, but an injury took the Palestinian out of the event.

Vendramini, 22 years old, is a newcomer to the UFC, and arrives at the franchise undefeated, with a record of eight wins. This will also be his first fight in the welterweight division (up to 77 kg), as his entire career was built at lightweight (up to 70 kg). He stepped into the Octagon just two weeks ago, and knocked out Lucas Eurico at Samurai Fight 1.

However, on the other side will be an opponent who is going through a great moment in his career. Eliseu Capoeira has been undefeated since 2015, and is on a run of five triumphs. In his last fight, at UFC Rio, the former UFC champion Jungle Fight spectacularly knocked out the North American Sean Strickland, through a rotated kick. The Paraná native has a record of 19 wins and five losses.

PUBLICITY:

The quotas of oddsshark are largely in favor of Capoeira, which will provide 14% profits to the bettor if he maintains his winning streak. On the other hand, if you paint a zebra, and Vendramini wins, the return will be a fantastic R$5,50/R$1,00.

Lívia Renata Souza x Alex Chambers

Recovered from a broken hand, Lívia Renata Souza will finally debut for the UFC, almost a year after signing a contract with the franchise. The Brazilian will face the experienced Alex Chambers in the strawweight division.

Lívia, 27 years old, is a former Invicta champion, and has a respectable record of 11 wins and one loss. She hasn't stepped into the Octagon for over a year, but she made a great impression when she knocked out Janaisa Morandin in her last fight.

At 39 years old, Chambers has had a lot more time on the road, but has never managed to make it in the UFC. Hired by the organization in 2015, she only competed in three fights. She won the first, against Kailin Curran, and lost the other two to paige vanzant and Nadia Kassem. With a very irregular career, the Australian seems to be the perfect opponent for a debut.

The Brazilian's triumph is a classic blowout, with a predicted return of 8%. If Chambers manages to silence the São Paulo fans, the bettor will have good reasons to celebrate, with a profit of R$7,00 for each real bet.
