Brave welterweight champion, Carlston Harris puts his title on the line against Jarrah Al-Selawe in the main fight of Brave 16, which will take place next Friday in Abu Dhabi. The Guyanese based in Rio de Janeiro will face his biggest challenge in Al-Selawe, as the Jordanian has the most victories in the organization's history (five).

Out of action for more than a year due to a series of injuries, Harris is recovered and intends to “steal the show” in Abu Dhabi, just as he did in August last year, when he agreed to fight for the title a day in advance and turned owner of Brave's inaugural welterweight belt.

“I don't intend to be a champion who simply has the belt to take selfies. There is no champion like me in Brave, I always accept the biggest challenge possible. I agreed to face an athlete prepared to do five rounds in one day. I went through five rounds and dominated the fight. Now I'm here ready to wage war against the organization's record holder for victories”, declared “Mozambique”, who trains at the renowned RFT, in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro.

The time out of action has not diminished Carlston's confidence, as he claims to be Brave's best champion and fighter and intends to prove this to the world in the organization's biggest event of the year.

“I'm not just the best champion, I'm the best Brave fighter. I don't care who Brave puts in front of me, I will terrorize them and give the fans the best fight. I thank Jarrah for waiting for me, but I am ready to fight”, commented Harris.

Brave 16 will have two title fights on its main card. In addition to the first defense of the title of Carlston Harris, featherweight champion Elias Boudegzdame will try to retain his title against Bubba Jenkins. Ten-time jiu-jitsu world champion, flyweight Bruno Malfacine will have his third MMA fight against Cristian Rodriguez Jr., while veteran Flavio Serafim makes his Brave debut against Vaughn Donayre.
