In recent weeks, Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor they returned to their old provocations through their social networks. Anyone who thought it was a random attack was mistaken, in an interview with “NBC RADIO” the boxer's father, Floyd Mayweather Sr. assured that a rematch between the rivals is being talked about.

“It seems that he and Conor McGregor they will fight. That's what it looks like. I don't know for sure, but I'm just saying how things are sounding to me. It looks like [Floyd] is going to fight again, and Conor McGregor, he wants to fight again. Even if he doesn’t want to fight again, he’s going to fight again just to show his fans what he can do – which is nothing,” said Floyd’s father.
Much was speculated about a possible rematch between Mayweather and McGregor in the UFC Octagon, but the boxer's father assured that the confrontation would be just another boxing fight.
Floyd Mayweather Sr. believes that Conor is looking for a rematch to get revenge on his son after his defeat in the ring in 2017. Even so, he guarantees that McGregor will never be able to avenge the setback.
“I’m just saying, I think they’re going to fight the same way. I think that Conor McGregor wants the victory that will never come back to him anyway. There’s been a lot of talk about the rematch and it seems like there’s a lot of interest in it right now,” Floyd Mayweather Sr. said.
The confrontation between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor took place on August 26, 2017 in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena. The North American beat the Irishman by technical knockout at 1m05s of the tenth round. With the triumph, ‘Money’ maintained his unbeaten record of 50 clashes in the ring.
