Curtis Blaydes and Francis Ngannou have a rematch in the main fight of UFC Beijing

The main fight of the first Ultimate event in Beijing in China was announced on Sunday night (26) on the organization's Twitter. The card will be headlined by a heavyweight rematch Curtis blaydes e Francis Ngannou.

Curtis blaydes e Francis Ngannou they met for the first time in April 2016 at UFC Zagreb. The Cameroonian beat the North American with a technical knockout in the second round.

Since the duel, the two heavyweights have grown within the organization and reached the top of the division's rankings.

Since then, Ngannou has defeated Bojan Mihajlović, Anthony Hamilton, Andrei Arlovski e alistair overeem. With these victories, the Cameroonian had the chance to compete for the category belt against the champion, Stipe Miocic at UFC 220. The American defeated Francis by unanimous decision.

Ngannou returned to the Octagon in the UFC 226 co-event against Derrick Lewis. The Cameroonian was defeated again by unanimous decision. At 31 years old, he has a record of 13 fights, with 11 victories and two setbacks.

Since the defeat to Francis, Curtis blaydes defeated Cody Easy, Daniel Omielańczuk, alexey oleynik, Mark Hunt e alistair overeem. He also beat Adam Milstead by knockout, but the result of the fight was changed after the American tested positive for marijuana.
