The clash between the middleweights, Paulo borrachinha e Yoel romero was scheduled for UFC 230, but the Cuban fighter will not be ready for the fight on November 03rd. Seeing the opportunity, Shoe Face he challenged his compatriot again to a duel in New York. On his Twitter, Antônio Carlos Jr. states that he will show the world what happened when the two fought together.

Antônio had already challenged Borrachinha to a confrontation in the main fight of the UFC Sao Paulo after having your fight against Derek Brunson at UFC 227 canceled.
Shoe Face became known after his participation in TUF 3. He is currently scheduled to face Elias Theodorou in UFC Sao Paulo, on September 22th.
The other option being studied by Ultimate for the fight between Borrachinha and Romero is to reschedule it for January 2019.
