UFC Fight Night São Paulo has a new main fight. The event that takes place on September 22nd, at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera, had lost the Minas Gerais native Glover Teixeira, who injured his shoulder and left the attraction. But the Brazilian Thiago Marreta accepted the challenge, will move up from the middleweight division (up to 84,1 kg.) to the light heavyweight division (up to 93,1 kg.) and will compete against Englishman Jimi Manuwa in the last attraction of the show.

Glover left the attraction last Tuesday (14) and Marreta promptly made himself available to face Manuwa. However, the Englishman, in principle, did not accept the dispute. But after two days of negotiations, the 'Poster Boy' agreed to face Thiago. He has a record of 18 wins and six losses as a professional. He is on a run of five wins in his last six fights. In his last appearance, Marreta defeated Kevin holland at UFC 227, at the beginning of the month.
In turn, Manuwa. fifth in the light heavyweight rankings, he has a record of 17 wins and four losses. The Englishman lost his last fight against Jan Blachowicz, in March
